Robin Nance, MSW, LISW-CP
Robin graduated from the University of South Carolina’s Master of Social Work program in 1995. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who has been providing PCIT for the past 14 years and worked with families and their children in a community mental health setting for more than 15 years. Robin is certified in PCIT through PCIT International. She received her PCIT training and rostering from Duke University. She completed advanced training in PCIT from Duke University in order to become a Level 1 PCIT trainer. She participated on the PCIT of the Carolinas Expert Panel in January of 2010. She also participated in further advanced training in PCIT at Duke in the Fall of 2012. She attended the PCIT International Conferences in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2019. Robin also served as a Faculty Extender for the PCIT of the Carolinas program.
Robin was trained by a PCIT Global trainer in adherence with the PCIT International training guidelines and stays current in PCIT practice by participating in ongoing PCIT education and training.
Robin is completed PCIT-T (toddler) training for children ages 12- 30 months in 2021.
Robin is a Circle of Security Facilitator.
Robin completed TCIT-C, Teacher Child Interaction Training-Comprehensive Program in 2018 with Dr. Christopher Campbell. TCIT-C is an adaptation of PCIT for use with teachers in preschool and kindergarten classrooms. For more information on TCIT-C please visit pcit-training.com
Robin is a certified ABC provider. ABC (Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up) is an intervention for children ages 6-24 months and their caregivers. For more information of ABC visit www.abcintervention.org
